Haleema is a solicitor in the Private Client team, where she supports an established client base with tailored advice on tax, trusts, and succession planning.
Prior to commencing her training contract, she spent three years as a paralegal in the Private Client team, gaining substantial experience in complex and bespoke estate planning matters that now inform her practice. She advises on and drafts Wills, Codicils and Lasting Powers of Attorney, giving careful attention to issues of capacity, validity, and construction.
She secures Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, manages complex estate administrations, and drafts wills incorporating sophisticated trust structures to ensure clients’ wishes are implemented with clarity and precision.
She further advises on the ongoing administration of complex trust arrangements, drafting deeds of appointment, advancement, and variation, facilitating trustee changes, and preparing Declarations of Trust.
Haleema graduated with a Law degree from the University of Leicester in 2021 before going on to complete her Master of Laws and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. Her first seat as a trainee solicitor was in the Private Client department, followed by seats in Litigation and Property.
Outside of work, Haleema has a passion for cinema. She also enjoys oil painting, literature, and live music. She’s a keen runner and tennis enthusiast who also loves to travel.
