    About accredittions 1

    Lexcel Accreditation

We strive to deliver the best service possible for our clients. As such, we are proud to have been awarded the Law Society’s quality mark, Lexcel. It is an independently assessed international practice management standard designed specifically for law firms.

It is awarded only to solicitors who meet the highest management and client care standards and is reviewed annually.

Find out more about Lexcel accreditation on The Law Society website.

    ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is an independent UKAS accreditation, awarded to firms who have implemented outstanding quality management systems.

The ISO 9001 is only awarded to firms who can demonstrate that they have effective processes in place for communicating with clients, and in particular, in responding to complaints or general client feedback. At Hegarty, we encourage client feedback, and all feedback is regularly reviewed to make sure that any issues or problems with our service are resolved promptly, and that preventative measures are put in place to ensure they do not recur in future.

Find out more about ISO 9001 on the ISO website.

    Conveyancing Quality Scheme

Hegarty is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) The Conveyancing Quality Scheme is the recognised quality mark for legal experts in buying or selling property, trusted by some of the UK’s biggest mortgage lenders. All Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme firms go through rigorous examination and testing to demonstrate that they have a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice.

In 2011-12 the Conveyancing Quality Scheme was officially recognised by the Legal Ombudsman, Association of British Insurers (ABI), Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) and the Building Societies Association (BSA).

    Conveyancing Quality Scheme members will:

    • explain the steps in buying or selling a home
    • tell you what service you can expect from them
    • be honest about what the costs will be
    • keep you informed through the process

    Cyber Essentials

We take cyber security seriously and have worked hard to ensure our systems are secure and meet the standards needed to be certified under the Cyber Essentials Scheme.
