Kelly Baxter

Kelly is a Legal Secretary within Hegarty’s Commercial Property team, based at the Peterborough office. She has worked within the legal profession for many years and brings a broad range of administrative and legal experience to her role.

Kelly began her legal career in 2007, initially working in accounts and IT before moving into a Legal Secretary role within Litigation and Personal Injury. After 10 years in this role, she progressed to train as a Paralegal, qualifying in March 2025.

This varied experience has given Kelly a strong understanding of the legal process and the importance of providing organised, responsive support to both clients and colleagues.

As part of Hegarty’s Commercial Property team, Kelly supports fee earners with the day-to-day progression of property matters, helping to ensure transactions are handled efficiently and clients receive a professional and reliable service. She enjoys being part of a busy legal team and takes pride in helping matters progress as smoothly as possible for clients.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys reading, getting into a good TV series, travelling, and spending time with her family. She also has two Cocker Spaniels, Alfie and Luna, who, in Kelly’s words, “own the place”.
