Lesley is a Chartered Legal Executive in the Family Law department. She joined Hegarty in 2001 and started her training as a Legal Executive in 2006. She qualified as a fellow after completing her training with the firm in 2011. In May 2021 Lesley was promoted to Associate of the firm in recognition of her achievements and expertise.
Lesley deals with all matters concerning family law including divorce, separation, financial relief and domestic violence. She also deals with Change of Name Deeds, Statutory Declarations, and Affidavits for Marriage.
Lesley deals with all areas of Children’s Act matters such as contact and residence issues, child abduction and forced marriages. She also covers Children’s Act Public Law and Private Law. She has a dedicated and flexible approach with clients and will offer home visits where appropriate.
Lesley is a member of Resolution, as well as the Peterborough and District CILEx branch for Family Law and the Peterborough Family Law Group.
