Lynette brings more than 25 years of legal secretarial experience. Throughout her career, she has worked across a range of legal disciplines, including Intellectual Property, Company, and Employment Law, and has spent almost 15 years supporting Hegarty's Dispute Resolution team.
Working primarily alongside Andrew Hornsby and Abdul Basit, Lynette also provides support across the wider Dispute Resolution department, assisting colleagues whenever needed. Her responsibilities include opening and closing client files, preparing correspondence and legal documents from dictation, organising case documentation, compiling court bundles, managing diaries, handling client enquiries, and maintaining the firm's document management systems.
Lynette enjoys the variety her role offers and particularly values the opportunity to solve problems and help ensure matters progress smoothly. She takes pride in providing dependable support to both clients and colleagues, helping the Dispute Resolution team deliver an efficient and professional service.
Outside of work, Lynette enjoys reading, gardening, walking, and exploring new places around the UK with her husband, Steve.
