Are you concerned about long term care?

Free seminar outlining the key practical, legal and financial considerations

Held at The William Cecil Hotel in Stamford on 30th October, this morning seminar is ideal for anyone who would like to understand the options and process for care home selection and funding as well as fees and managing associated financial matters.

Experts from Hegarty Solicitors, Care Advice Centre and Landmark IFA Ltd will cover:

    • The process. What happens if you are self funding? Where do you find the information? Aleisha White of the Care Advice Centre will help you to understand the social services/NHS maze, care home selection, the issue of securing NHS continuing healthcare funding and arranging care at home.
    • The legal and practical planning aspects including the value of powers of attorney, whether you own your property as joint tenants or tenants in common and what happens to your house if you are self-funding – Jo Wild, solicitor at Hegarty.
    • Financial considerations including pre and post event planning. Kevin Mullins – an independent financial advisor with more than 20 years’ experience will dispel the myths of care planning and offer some options for planning the funding of long term care.
