At Hegarty, we believe in supporting our community by providing accessible legal guidance to those who need it most.
That’s why we are proud to partner with Little Miracles, a charity supporting families with children who have additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions, to offer free monthly Mini Legal Advice Sessions in Peterborough.
Working closely with Michelle King, CEO of Little Miracles, we launched these sessions at The Spinney, Hartwell Way, Peterborough, back in March 2025.
Since then, every session has been fully booked, with a waiting list in place to ensure that if there is a last-minute cancellation, someone else can benefit from the available slot.
During each session, our family law specialist, Sarah Chapman, is available to give confidential legal advice on a range of matters, including:
Sarah has also signposted attendees to other departments within Hegarty for assistance with trusts and probate, landlord and tenant issues, negligence claims, and living trusts.
These sessions are open not only to families supported by Little Miracles but also to their staff, volunteers, and students on placement. We can also arrange the session to be over the telephone if people are unable to attend at the centre.
Sarah commented, “Since these sessions with Little Miracles have commenced, I have met with just over 20 people. The people I have met have been lovely and it is my pleasure to be able to offer advice and assistance to each of them.”
Each meeting is an opportunity for people to get practical legal guidance in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our partnership with Little Miracles reflects our commitment to making legal services more accessible and building stronger connections within our local community.
By providing free, face-to-face advice, we can help individuals take the first step toward resolving legal issues with confidence.
Sarah said, “I really enjoy working alongside Little Miracles and feel it is important to support members of the community how best we can.
I am looking forward to these sessions continuing and being able to offer more help to the staff and volunteers at Little Miracles, and those that attend the centre.”
Our next sessions will take place between 10 AM and 12:30 PM on:
