Well done to the 14 runners from TeamJess who took part in the Sheffield half marathon this week. TeamJess is a community running group who are raising money so Jess can walk.
Four year-old Jess Howard from Helpston, Peterborough, was born with a form a cerebral palsy which limits the movement in her arms and legs. TeamJess are competing in two races this year, the Sheffield half-marathon and the Peterborough Great Eastern Run, to raise money for an operation and physiotherapy to help Jess walk.
More than 90 people are signed up so far to run for TeamJess in the Great Eastern Run in October, and a massive £4.5k has been raised to date. Visit the TeamJess website to find out more.
