Fareeda is a solicitor in our dispute resolution team, based at our Peterborough office.
She completed her training contract with Buckles Solicitors and qualified into their Restructuring, Turnaround, & Insolvency, and Dispute Resolution Department in September 2023. During her training contract, she completed seats in Family, Private Client, Company Commercial and Dispute Resolution teams with Dispute Resolution and Insolvency being a key area of interest for her.
Fareeda works well under pressure and likes thinking outside of the box. She enjoys client interaction and solving issues where both sides almost always want very different outcomes
She has a First-Class Undergraduate Degree in Law and has completed the Legal Practice Course LLM for which Fareeda was awarded the Ewart Price Award. She has spent time undertaking pro bono work at the Anglia Ruskin University Law Clinic which gave her valuable experience and helped her grow her legal skills and knowledge. She has also participated in Support at Court, which was provided through the Law Clinic to offer support and guidance to litigants in person during their Court hearing.
Fareeda is a member of the Peterborough Young Lawyers Group.
Outside of work, Fareeda enjoys spending time with her friends and family, eating out and shopping. She also takes part in charity events and is a member of local Charity Committees in Peterborough.
