After completing a law degree at De Montfort University and a Master’s in Business Law, Hamzah went on to qualify as a solicitor through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). Before qualifying, Hamzah spent two years working in the corporate department, gaining hands-on experience in corporate transactions and commercial agreements.
Hamzah works closely with businesses to provide clear, practical legal advice, ensuring they have the right structures and agreements in place to operate smoothly and protect their interests.
A well-structured shareholders’ agreement can help avoid disputes and keep decision-making straightforward. Hamzah advises business owners on how to put the right protections in place, covering areas like share transfers, voting rights, and profit distribution to suit their specific needs.
Companies looking to buy back shares—whether as part of an exit strategy or to restructure their capital—need to follow a strict legal process. Hamzah helps businesses navigate the regulatory requirements, making the process as smooth as possible while ensuring compliance with company law.
As businesses grow and change, their share structures often need to adapt. Hamzah helps companies restructure their shares, whether that means introducing new share classes, adjusting voting rights, or optimising shareholding structures to support investment or succession planning.
Strong contracts are the backbone of any business. Hamzah reviews and drafts commercial agreements to make sure they are clear, enforceable, and work in the company’s best interests, helping to reduce risks and avoid disputes.
Well-drafted terms and conditions protect businesses and set the foundation for smooth customer and supplier relationships. Hamzah ensures that these agreements are legally sound, fair, and tailored to each business’s operations.
Setting up the right distribution agreements is key to business growth. Hamzah advises on structuring these agreements to establish strong commercial relationships while ensuring businesses maintain control over their products and operations.
With a practical and business-focused approach, Hamzah helps clients cut through legal complexity and put agreements in place that work for them.
