    Hegarty, one of the region’s leading law firms, are recruiting a full time Residential Property Admin Assistant to join our busy Residential Property department. This role can be based at either our Peterborough, Stamford, Oakham or Market Deeping office.

    In this role you’ll be assisting the department with matter opening, sending out Land Registry documents to lenders and clients post completion of registration, checking balances, sending any money back to clients and file closures as well as any other non client facing admin tasks that may be required

    You will be joining a modern and dynamic team that fully supports each and every individual and ensures that everyone has a great work life balance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Opening matters once the entity has been created by the compliance team;
    • Preparing and submitting land registry application forms;
    • Conducting post completion searches where necessary;
    • Liaising with the Land Registry to conclude registration process, including answering requisitions;
    • Sending our completed registration documents to lenders and clients;
    • Closing files and ensuring any client balances are dealt with;
    • Deeds in and out of deeds storage and maintaining an accurate database.
    • Compliance with CQS Accreditation and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.

    Person Specification:

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
    • Great attention to detail and organisational skills.
    • Excellent use of Microsoft Office products.
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure that challenging deadlines are met.
    • Maintains a positive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
