Christi is an experienced Paralegal at Hegarty working in the firm’s Corporate Law team. He supports a wide range of corporate transactional and advisory matters. With a keen eye for detail, Christi works closely with clients and colleagues to provide high quality legal support and ensure that projects progress in a timely fashion.
Christi has extensive experience working on:
Mergers and Acquisitions
- Providing legal support on share and asset sales and purchases.
- Assisting on legal due diligence processes, including the review and/or advancement of due diligence replies and the management of data rooms.
- Preparation of disclosure letters.
- Drafting and review of all relevant ancillary documentation (e.g., board minutes, shareholder resolutions) and various completion deliverables.
Company and Group Reorganisations
- Assisting on corporate share restructures, including:
- transfer of shares;
- share reclassifications;
- share buybacks;
- allotment of shares;
- cancellation of shares; and
- share for share exchanges and introductions of new holding companies.
- Preparation and review of:
- companies’ articles of association;
- shareholders’ agreements;
- share buyback agreements;
- share for share exchange agreements; and
- all relevant ancillary documentation.
- Handling relevant post-completion formalities, including filings at Companies House and submissions to HMRC.
Having completed his Law LLB at the University of Leicester, Christi is currently taking the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations as he works towards qualification as a solicitor and builds on his growing expertise in corporate law.
