As a Commercial Property lawyer, Amrita advises on a broad spectrum of commercial property law and has acted on a number of acquisitions and disposals for clients in the retail and leisure sectors, property investment sector and the financial sector during her 20 years plus experience.
She can assist with property investment and landlord and tenant issues and the property aspects of corporate transactions. She has, additionally, undertaken asset management portfolio work for a variety of clients, ranging from large restaurant and hotel chains to individual property investors and traders.
Amrita takes a hands-on approach, building strong relationships with clients and often seeing them on site to help iron out issues. Her experience and commercial acumen bring added value to the transactions she works on and she is known for consistently delivering on time when there is a tight timetable.
Amrita trained at City Firm Fieldfisher where she qualified in to their Real Estate department in 2003. She moved to West End Firm, Finers Stephens Innocent (now merged with Howard Kennedy) in 2006 and then in 2012 returned to Kent where she grew up, working for Girlings in their Legal 500 ranked Commercial Property department. Amrita joined Hegarty in 2024.
